Education System in South Korea

Education system in South Korea according by age, not by knowledge, result mark, or test. Besides looking for the ages, it’s according to the month of born too. Education structure in South Korea are:

•         6 years for elementary school.
•      3 years for junior high school.
•      3 years for senior high school.
•          And then continued to University.

For the year of school dividing by 2 semesters:

• ·         1^st semester is start from early in March until the middle of July.
• ·         Summer holiday is start from middle of July until the end of August.
• ·         2^nd semester is start from the end of August until the middle of February.
• ·         Winter holiday start from the last December until early in February.
• ·         2^nd semester exam and graduate exam start from early in February until the middle of February (one week).
• ·         Short holiday start from the middle of February until the early of March.
